Load balancing with two Gigabit cards

Is it possible to configure two Gigabit cards
to use the same IP address for the purposes of
load balancing, without using the HP APA product?

loadbalance this way.

APA (Auto Port Aggregation)

Be sure that your switch support port aggregation.

The price is around 1000$.

Re: Load balancing with two Gigabit cards

At HP-UX 11.0 it became possibel to define multiple default routes. UX provides some load balancing by using the routers in a round robin fashion as well as improved reliability. If one router fails to respond it uses the alternate default route.

Not as good as APA but its free.
