What is the difference between "connected locally" and "attached".

Isn't this the same?

Or do you mean internal vs. external?


You must look up the hardware path and compare to the information you get from the hardware manual - this is the only way.

Do you have an "ioscan -fn" together with "model" output?

Hi,

with ioscan -funCdisk you can see disks attached your box. if you look at the output you can find it from description tab or from h/w path tab.
