Locale settings to asian (DBCS) languages is not working

Hi,

In one of my HP 11i machine, when i set the LANG and LC_ALL to any JP/KR/HK/TW/CN utf8, i getting all junk characters for any command. where as it's working well with other(SBCS) languages.

I did everything what's given in HP Technical Document id KBRC00000049, still i am not getting fonts. does anybody solved this problem?
