Hello All,
In HP 10.20, is it possible to lock a group of users after 3 failed login attempts, without converting to a trusted system?
Can some sort of template customization be done to implement that feature?
Thanks in advance for all suggestions.
Regards,
Suren Selva

Re: Locking Accounts After 3 Failed Attempts.
Nope, this feature is only available on a trusted system.

Solution
The simple answer is no BUT if you are willing to code a replacement for login then it's certainly possible. I've done it in the past but if you are not an experienced UNIX/C programmer, I would not reccomend it. Converting to a trusted system is much simpler unless you are running NIS.
If it ain't broke, I can fix that.
