Logging into the system via the iLO utility
What is the correct keystroke combination to be able to log into a system console via the iLO utility? Thanks.

Re: Logging into the system via the iLO utility
The equivelant in Itanium or PARISC is refered to as the MP ( maintenance processor ) or SP ( service processor ).
If this is an intel based product then maybe post in intel hardware forum for best results.

Re: Logging into the system via the iLO utility
Hello,
Hewlett-Packard, which is the dominant player in the Itanium market has grabbed many of the features that are standard on its Xeon-based ProLiant servers and is now putting them into its new Itanium-based Integrity servers and ILO is one of them.
But ILO is known as MP(management processor) or GSP(Guardian service processor) in Itanium and PA-RISC based servers.
And here if u login by using ILO IP(bcoz it has its own seperate IP) then it will prompt u for login and password.
After providing correct login name and password it will take u to MP MAIN MENU screen(see the attachment how it looks).
And there you plz type
MP>co
to enter into o.s. to login there.
Thanks and Bye

Re: Logging into the system via the iLO utility
What once was an MP/Console port on PA-RISC is now iLO as HP spreads common parts between the Intel and Intel Itanium server lines.
Less to learn.
A console login is possible via iLo. Multiple user logins, not possible.

Re: Logging into the system via the iLO utility
Please run "model" on your HP-UX session an let us know your result.
Do you use a ssh/telnet/web connection to your iLO?
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
