login IDs not locking after inactivity period
I have HPUX 11V1 running. My login accounts are setup for:
a. Passwords expire after 80 days
b. Maximum Inactive Time (days): 30
c. Lock Inactive Accounts: <*> Enabled
d. Unsuccessful Login Tries Allowed: 6
Still all the accounts are not locking after fixed inactivity.
What else needs to be done? Can you please help?
Thanks

Re: login IDs not locking after inactivity period
For directly connected terminals, (through serial, modem, or MUX port), there is a Terminal Security policy Login Timeout Value parameter you can use under "sam". Unfortunately, this does not apply to remote connections (telnet, rlogin, ssh).
1. Auditing and Security
2. System Security Policies
3. Terminal Security Policies
4. Login Timeout Value (sec.):
