Login variables

HP-UX 11.0
I edited .profile to contain desired login variables. Works fine for telnet remsh etc.

On CDE login variables do not work. Tried
uncommenting DTSOURCEPROFILE in .dtprofile and
still no go.

Any suggestions or ideas ?

Re: Login variables

Hi Michael,

Create a file called .Xdefaults and keep the
entry

dtterm*loginShell: True

and restart CDE.

Re: Login variables

Edit the .dtprofile and make sure that the last line says:

DTSOURCEPROFILE=true

Re: Login variables

Hello Michael,

just "export"ing those variables in your "$HOME/.profile" after enabling the "DTSOURCEPROFILE=true" would have been sufficient...
