Looking for new edition of "HP-UX Software Recovery Handbook"

Hello All,

After searching a lot in to HP forum I am enable to find the latest edition of "HP-UX Software Recovery Handbook"

I am looking for "HP-UX Software Recovery Handbook" new edition I have one but that is very old "Release 8 August 2003"

Please let me give the download link which is working, as per the forum old links are there but those are not working. “FILE IS MISSING”.

Hi Suraj,

as far as I know, this book has been discontinued. There used to be a HP internal website where the book was held in HTML format, but updates to it have ceased. I think the last edition was dated somewhere to year 2004 or 2005.

Here's a complete set of pointers to the latest docs that I can locate... there may be newer versions out there - you have to play around with the URL and change what comes after the "?docId=" part - I found incrementing the last numeric on occasion found some newer versions.

WARNING: To the best of my knowledge these docs are no longer kept up-to-date, so you should check if what is written is still consistent with the current versions. For my mind docs.hp.com is a much more reliable and up-to-date source for all this information.
