Lost Code word

Hi

I lost the code word for some protected softwares. How to recreate? What is the prcedure for that?

Hi,

If you have the original HP order Number and
your customer number you should be able to
get them from from http://www.webware.hp.com/welcome.asp
You will also need the CD Part Numbers.

If this fails contact HP and they can do it
the same day sending you the answer via e-mail.

Hi Shahul,

If you have already put the code word any time before for installing software, then u can refer to /var/adm/sw/.codewords file where u can file yr codeword.

no need to worry. but if you have not entered previously and it was still on paper, then call up hp support and raise the matter..

Hi,

You can call license services and they will issue you a new code. All you need to provide is system handle or serial number. Here is the link.
