Hi @all,
I want to create a user with permision to create, add and delete printers on our hp-ux 11.11 system only. Unfortunately, adding the user to the lp group didn't work. I still get following error for the user:
"/usr/lib/lpshut: this command for use only by LP Administrators"
Which other group(s), except lp, must the user be added to to become a LP Administrator?
Best Regards,
AMI

Hi,
- it may be, that this user must change to the lp group first when logged in:
newgrp lp
check via command: id
- you may use restricted SAM for this purpose
