lp -o options choosing PCL Font to print

I want to print an ascii text file using the font "Bold New Courier".
What is the -o option used to choose a specific font to use.
The printer font listing is:
Font # = I039 ; Font ID = ROMAN-8 ; Name of Typeface = Courier.

Re: lp -o options choosing PCL Font to print

That depends on the interface script used. Print something with `lp -ooptions`. If the interface script is PCL[45], it will print a couple pages of options. I do not know about the JetAdmin enhancements. Look at the interface script (/etc/lp/interface/) to see what it does. If it happens to be the basic PCL[45] model, then you're limited to the fonts installed in the printer and -o'bold type4099' may work.

-o'bold type4099' is Courier Bold for a HP LaserJet 4050.
