lp spooler, HP-UX, maximum TTL for Printjobs in queue

Hello,
I am looking for a smart solution in to give print jobs a maximum time to live as queued job.

Is there a configuration option in the scheduler to limit livetime and or size/number of queue job, for a class of printers.

Or has it been done by custom scripting?
