lpstat status is remains even after the printing completed

Hi guys , good day . I have a situation where I've configured the print queue . It was successful and able to print . Application team has use the print queue name for their application printing . and they are able to print . Even the print job completed , the status is still there . for example :

# lpstat -t| grep -i testqueue
device for testqueue: /dev/null
testqueue accepting requests since Nov 3 16:01
printer testqueue now printing testqueue-9092. enabled since Nov 3 16:01
testqueue-9092 root priority 0 Nov 3 16:07 on testqueue
test_testqueue 114 bytes
testqueue-9093 user01 priority 0 Nov 3 16:25
testqueue-9099 user01 priority 0 Nov 3 16:35

Re: lpstat status is remains even after the printing completed

what "kind" of printer is "testqueue", network or remote?

what make / model of printer?

The "application team" is issuing an "lp" command to print, or is something else going on.

depending on the above, and the setting of "TEOJ" may need to be changed. Can't tell with the information provided.
