LUN disk not displayed in ioscan
Hi
i hav my HP UX server connected to SAN and LUNS are configured on it..but ioscan doesnot show the output as /dev/dsk/c0t0d0 but instead are shown as dsk..even the internal disks are not shown as /dev/dsk/c0tod0 form...i need that information..how can i get that.....

It looks like your server is not part of SAN yet. What switches/Disk Array are you using in the SAN topology?
Can you login to the SAN switch and see if you can identify the server and storage?
Also whats the output of ioscan?

Please run "ioscan -fn" and post the result.

You could use the "ioscan -funC disk" ,which will show full listing of the devices in the system.Alternativly you can get much formatted output from "sam" or "cstm" as well.
