LVM_MAXPXS
Trying to extend a vg i got the following error
vgextend: Too many physical extents for volume group.
Cannot add physical volume to volume group.
LVM_MAXPXS: 65535
Searching for LVM_MAXPXS on itrc i found info only related to hp10.20 and i'm on hp11.00.
more info: in the vg the actual total PE are 100100 that are more than 65535!!!!
I need to extend the vgbut i don't know how to proceed.

Re: LVM_MAXPXS
Just an addition: One of the fixes addressed by PHCO_27369 concerning vgextend - users are limited to create volume group with maximum physical extents of 65535.
R U using Extent-based stripping (/etc/lvmpvg) or trying to add an alternate links to a volume group with exiting links ?
Please verify in vgdisplay that Cur PV & Act PV match & that Max PV is respected (default 16).
Cheers,
T??
