I was wondering if anyone could recommend some good LVM reading material that is up to date. I already have ???HP Certified: HP-UX System Administration??? and have read the chapters on LVM, which are rather light. I am looking for something a bit more advanced, or rather more in depth LVM concepts and such. I have also printed the PDF documents available from docs.hp.com on LVM and I???m wondering what else is out there for HP-UX LVM.
Do any of you LVM experts out there have any suggestions? Thanks.

SolutionPersonally, I'm not afraid of those dry, old 'man pages' so one suggestion is to read them!
For a less dry overview, I think the sections relating to disk and file management here ("Managing Systems and Workgroups: A Guide for HP-UX System Administrators") are quite good:
http://docs.hp.com/hpux/onlinedocs/B2355-90701/B2355-90701.html
You could also purchase "Disk and File Management Tasks on HP-UX":

Regards!

Re: LVM Published Material
You can check this white paper. Even though it is dated, it has useful info.
