LVM replace mirrored root disk HP-UX B11.00
Hi All,
We have an old rp5450 Server with HP-UX B11.00. One PV on vg00 is unavailable and shows stale extends.
All documentations I found for replacement is for newer OS releases.
I need a documentation for replacing a mirrored boot disk with HP-UX B11.00
Thanks

Re: LVM replace mirrored root disk HP-UX B11.00
Shalom,
Please post the output showing stale extents.
ioscan -fnCdisk
Post the output related to the NO_HW to make sure you are replacing the correct drive.
The link above will give you all the procedures you need to handle the disk replacement.
