macro to print to a tray
Hi,
I have two printers - Hp Laserjet p3005x and Hp Laserjet 4250tn and I am trying to print to selected trays through a macro. The macro worked on the older printers but not these.
Are there selective lines which I need to use in a macro to print to these models?
I will be grateful for any help received.
Mark Palmer.

Re: macro to print to a tray
if you haven't already, get the model scripts for those printers from here:
http://www.hp.com/pond/modelscripts/index2.html
if this is truely a "macro" and you are sending the actual control codes, it sounds like the definition of "mediasrc" may be different than what you are used to.
the above assumes that the printers are jetdirect attached on hpux

Re: macro to print to a tray
Thanks for your reply but I downloaded tvp print macro from http://www.r3uk.co.uk/content/view/74/64/
when run, I am able to see the specific port number for each of the specific trays. This is applied to the default printer so now able to print the macro at both printers.
Thanks Mark Palmer.
