I have one text menu driven application. Since it won't take any option to startup, each time after the reboot I have to activate it. Is there any software for hpux to record the keystroke so that it will automate the process

Hi,
did you try to redirect standard input?
e.g.:
menu << [EOT]
1
4
Q
[EOT]

This might work in your case,

All unix flavours are exactly the same . . . . . . . . . . for end users anyway.
