Re: mail problem
The error message looks like it was coming from a Lotus Notes installation.
So the mail forwarding seems ok.
Check if the final recipient (the one on the right side in the aliases file) exists in Lotus Notes. If not, change the aliases file or create an entry in the Lotus Notes address book!
Regards,
Armin

And now for something completely different...

Re: mail problem
Hi,
Because you are posting in a HP-UX forum I assume you created an alias in the file /etc/mail/aliases.
After doing this you should run next command before using the alias in a new message from this server:
/usr/sbin/newaliases
HTH,
Peter

Re: mail problem
Hai,
After adding alias informations in /etc/mail/aliases file,we have to execute the newaliases command.
newaliases will update the aliases informations there and rebuilds the database for the mail aliases file.
Refer newaliases(1M) man page more.
Regards,
Muthukumar.

Easy to suggest when don't know about the problem!
