Hi,

where can i change the mailer setting.
it is on tcp now and i want it on snmp.
and can i do this "on the fly"?

ok, some add. info is required here

i checked sendmail.cf on 3 machines, even replaced the one on the not working machine.
didn't work.
in the mail.log on the other machines it says smtp, but on the machine that doesn't email it says tcp
that's my only difference sofar.

Having replaced sendmail.cf on the failing machine, did you restart sendmail?
