majordomo/sendmail fqdn

I have just installed majordomo and when I do the following:

echo 'lists'|mail majordomo

i get

MAJORDOMO ABORT (mj_majordomo)!!

majordomo@jeeves.cityofevanston.org: Jeeves root is not a valid return address.


I am guessing that user root is not resolving to an fqdn. How do I fix this?
