Re: make_net_recovery qn

Shalom,

make_net_recovery makes a directory on the target NFS share point that includes the MAC address of the system being backed up in the name.

Also the date.

flist is not an image file, its a filelist If i remember correctly

Re: make_net_recovery qn

hello,
here is the extracts from recovery log, would this mean that the archive has been deleted ?

* Preparing to create a system archive.
* The archive is estimated to reach 1979655 kbytes.
* Free space on /var/opt/ignite/recovery/arch_mnt
after archive should be about 271194373 kbytes.

* Archiving contents of NODE001 via tar to
/var/opt/ignite/recovery/arch_mnt/2008-04-17,17:45.
* Creation of system archive complete.

NOTE: Could not read the /etc/resolv.conf file.
* Creating CINDEX Configuration File

* /opt/ignite/bin/manage_index -q -c 2008-04-17,17:45\ Recovery\ Archive
-i /var/opt/ignite/recovery/client_mnt/0x0019BBEB3DED/CINDEX -u
Recovery\ Archive

* Cleaning up Archives
NOTE: Archive: 2008-04-15,17:00 is being deleted
NOTE: The configuration clause name "2008-04-15,17:00 Recovery Archive" does
not exist in the file
/var/opt/ignite/recovery/client_mnt/0x0019BBEB3DED/CINDEX and
therefore cannot be removed as part of archive cleanup. This could be
due to aborting the system recovery after the archive was created, but
before the entry was added to
/var/opt/ignite/recovery/client_mnt/0x0019BBEB3DED/CINDEX for the
archive. This could also happen as a result of manually deleting
entries in the CINDEX file or removing the entire clients directory.

Re: make_net_recovery qn

Client config information is in
/var/opt/ignite/clients/0xFFA ( or link with hostname )

Client archive are kept in
/var/opt/ignite/recovery/archives/
