make_net_recovery requirements
I'm planning to do make_net recovery to my rx2620 which dont have any tape drive attached. Can anyone tell me the requirements of the ignite server(destination server)?.. and file transfer method whether using NFS? SCP? RCP. Last but not least...i wonder how to restore back form the image???
Thanks in advance.

Re: make_net_recovery requirements
The Ignite-UX document link by Torsten, gives a lot of details for Server vs. Client initiated archive creation.
If you initiate the Archive creation from the server using the Ignite GUI, it wil take care of permissions and exporting of the NFS archive directories.
Else, if you are using the client, then you will have to create the client's hostname directory under /var/opt/ignite/recovery/archives/ and export it.
How to restore:
Again very well documented in the Ignite-UX link. Interrupt the client's boot at BCH(PA-RISC) or EFI (Itanium) and boot from the lan IP address of the server.
HTH,
Sanjay
