Hello Sriman,

Did you configure ingite server (your second node )properly?.

Login to the ignite server and run
/opt/ignite/bin/ignite
In the GUI,select server setup and enter the required information.

Then try to boot the client.

Re: make_net_recovery restore problem

hi sajeer,

i just installed ignite s/w on server but i haven't configure it as ignite server (i.e, i didnt run server setup), but i configured it as server after i got this problem, then it is showing the clinet as make_net_recovery backup taken sucessfully in ignite server.

Is it required to configure the server before taking the backup ????

then i tried to restore, now it is showing the server in "sea lan insall" but when i boot from it, on the server the existing client is now showing as the new clinet.

how to select the backup location , once i booted from server
