make_recovery and arch.include.1

Greetings,
Could someone out there explain to me how /var/tmp/arch.include.1 fits into the make_recovery process? I use the -Ap options to preview and then -rvC to resume. I know the preview creates /var/opt/ignite/arch.include which is then used when the make_recovery is resumed. But I stumbled upon the arch.include.1 file and was curious about it.
