make_recovery
I have HP-UX 11.00.
HP-UX was running in mirror on two disks: c2t2d0, c1t2d0.
Disk c2t2d0 failed.
I removed c2t2d0.
Than I add new disk c6t8d0.
Now HP-UX is running in mirror on two disks: c1t2d0, c6t8d0.
I can't run make_recovery.
Following messages are appears:
make_recovery -A -i
/opt/ignite/lbin/list_expander -d
/opt/ignite/lbin/list_expander -d
/opt/ignite/lbin/list_expander -d
/opt/ignite/lbin/list_expander -d
/opt/ignite/lbin/list_expander -d

lssf: Must specify a special_file
usage: lssf special_file ...
save_config: error - unknown disk type for , not SCSI or HPFL

lvlnboot: Unable to print reliable information.
I'm sorry for my english.

Friend you he carried through all the procedures stops to remake the mirror ja that the changed record changed the address? this error this seeming that the procedure was not carried through.

You need to resolve errors before you run recovery. run the following:
lvlnboot -R vg00
lvlnboot -v vg00 and see if you get clean output.
lvlnboot -R vg00
lvlnboot -v vg00 and see if you get clean output.

Hi,
You haven't replaced the disk as it shows, I mean phisically, because the added disk should have the same device /dev/dsk/c2t2d0.
