Where should I find the make_tape_recovery utility ?

Ignite is installed under /opt/ignite but I do not find the utility there.

May be you have the old version - make_recovery. Try that command which is the older version of make_tape_recovery. You may consider updating the latest version then.

# man make_recovery

Forgot to add the complete path - /opt/ignite/bin/make_tape_recovery or make_recovery

# whereis make_recovery

if not there check your installation using SAM -> software management

Hi,

Use swlist -l product |grep -i ignite to see if it's really installed.

Check also if you use a recent version, and if not download the newest from here:

http://www.software.hp.com/products/IUX/

Hi:

/opt/ignite/bin/make_tape_recovery

You can do 'whereis make_tape_recovery' to find it.

If you don't have this command, then your version of Ignite is ancient. Download current software, including man pages, from here:

http://www.software.hp.com/products/IUX/index.html
