Hi guys
Just curious, i know we can tyep "stty erase ^H" to make backspace functional on my system but it seems that I need to do it everytime I open an xterm window. Is there any other way I can make this change permanent?
Best regards
Henry

Solution
Put the setting in /etc/profile or .profile
Then set cde to read the environment so the settings get set every time you open a terminal session.
