Making changes to the trusted user database on 11.0
We are currently upgrading one of our enviroments to 11.0. I have discovered that there are some differences in how the trusted user database is setup on 11.0 vs 10.20. Is there any way to change the max number of audit ids for new users? Also, on 10.20, when you do a modprpw -x user you get an admnum. Is there a way to edit the trusted database on 11.0 to return an admnum instead of a password?

Re: Making changes to the trusted user database on 11.0
Hi,
I'm almost certain that the admin number functionality went away with 11.00, though I'm not sure why.
Regarding the max number of audit IDs, perhaps you could explain why you believe this is an issue, and that will allow us to better understand your concerns?
Thanks,
Bruce

Re: Making changes to the trusted user database on 11.0
HP does not/ will not support modprpw. If you have seen the 11.0 version, you will see the evolution of their idea that SAM should be the end all-- be all for user account maintenance. Ergo, it will fade between now and never WITHOUT ANY WARNING, as they have told *me* that they have that perogative as it is not a supported command.
Hence the change in functionality of modprpw from 10 to 11.
