Max No of Semaphores

Hi

I want to increase the max no of semaphores(semmmns) value from 1000 to 2000.But we found that there are some more parameters which needs to be changed.Can u please tell me which all parameters needs to be increased.Following are the current sem* values

sema 1
semaem 16384
semmap 66
semmni 64
semmns 128
semmnu 30

Siju,

What are the exact error messages that you are recieving?

With default settings, increasing maxusers and nfile parameters has a cascading effect on most other parameters. but i doubt semmns will increase.

I don't think max no. of semaphores (semmns) depends on any value. You could increase the value
