maxdsiz problem ???

Try to increase the maxdsiz value using sam, everythings looks ok, and sam proceed with kernel reboot follow by a reboot. Somewhat, maxdsiz never get change to it's new value after reboot ? Please help. Thanks.

did you try chaning the value by hand and recompiling it ?


change the value in /stand/system

issue

mk_kernel
kmupdate

and then reboot.

Check also if you need to change the
maxdsiz_64bit

Try manual change parameter, rebuild kernel and see,

# cd /stand/build
# /usr/lbin/sysadm/system_prep -s system
# vi system (make your parameter changes)
# mk_kernel -s system
# kmupdate
# cd /
# shutdown -r -y now
