Maxed out TCP connections/performance issue

With HP Server Model 9000/800 IL2000, running HP-UX B.11.00, with Dec 2000 patchset, one 100MB half duplex NIC. Trying to simulate 40,000+ open TCP connection. Experiencing performance bottleneck. Looking for suggestions, links to HP maximum ndd TCP settings and network card parameter adjustments.

First suggestion. Change the half duplex to full duplex.

Second. Turn autosensing off on the card.

Third. If you have support......... ask for Stewart Lentz or Liz Thayer. While they specialize in HP3000 they know how to optimize the durn cards. (Forgive me Stewart & Liz)
