mc service guard lockfile

I have a serviceguard package with oracle running in it - i'd like to be able to put a lockfile in the /etc/cmcluster/OraclePkg directory, which i have done, so that i can take down the database for maint without failing the package. I thought all i'd have to do is put the lockfile in that dir, but it still halts the package when i stop oracle.

Does anyone know the behavior of the package lockfile?

you have to configure the package control script to do that.
