MC Service Guard
Hello,
I have set pkg control file thus:
SERVICE_NAME mon
SERVICE_FAIL_FAST_ENABLED NO
SERVICE_HALT_TIMEOUT 30
I would know what happen if mon deed, and what happen if mon ded and if set SERVICE_FAIL_FAST_ENABLED YES.

If you set SERVICE_FAIL_FAST_ENABLED YES, this is telling hte system htat in hte event of your service dieing/failing, your node will TOC, or dump.

Hi,
if "mon" dies, the cluster will restart it or fail, depending on the following variable:
SERVICE_RESTART[0]=""
SERVICE_FAIL_FAST_ENABLED YES -> a failure will cause a TOC.

I think you wouldn't like your node halted in the event of service failure...Btw,on a multinode cluster (package running on many nodes) that should be set to Yes...
