Re: MC/SG and LVM doubt
Hi Valkiria,
If you have just added an LV to an existing Service Guard VG, done vgexport and vgimport, and modified the control file, you don't have to do a "cmcheckconf" and "cmapplyconf".
If you have added a VG and you want to use this VG with Service Guard, you will have to modify the cluster ascii conf file and then do a cmcheckconf and cmapplyconf. If you reconfigure your network info, you have to do a "cmquerycl" and then edit the ascii conf file, do a "cmcheckconf" and then do a "cmapplyconf".
Make sure any modigication done in the control file for the package on one node is replicated to other SG nodes for the new change to be accessed on those nodes in case of the package switchover.
Hope this helps.

Re: MC/SG and LVM doubt
If your adding a new volume group then you also need to add it to your cluster configuration file (usually called something liked /etc/cmcluster/cmclconfig.ascii), and yes you will need to do a cmcheckconf and cmapplyconf on this file...
If your just adding a logical volume to an existing volume group, then there's no need to do the checkconf/applyconf, although doing the cmcheckconf won't really do any harm and might make you feel better!
