md5sum (file integrity tool) installation on hpux 11.0


Hello masters

Can anybody please tell me the installation procedure of md5sum on hpux 11.0.

It would be very much thankfull if anybody can tell me the site from where I can download md5sum software.

Check out here.
http://hpux.connect.org.uk/hppd/hpux/Sysadmin/md5-1.00/

Download the depot file, install as root.

swinstall -s

Revert back, if any problems.

For you archive hunters out there who may have found this thread, the GNU textutils available from the same source include the standard "md5sum" command. This way your output will match that of everyone else using the same command. ;-)
