How can i check if the rp4440 server has a 16DIMM memory carrier or 32.

Simply do:

# echo "selclass qualifier memory;info;wait;infolog"|/usr/sbin/cstm

It helps,is there a way we get the part number and such.

No. The part number for the same sized DIMM module can be changed several times during the product's lifetime. The part numbers, typically 5x5 (#####-#####), are available from the HP Parts Reference website:

http://partsurfer.hp.com

Look up the rp4440 model and then select Memory Product (not Memory DIMM). Memory is sold by product numbers only.
