Memory fault(coredump)

Hi,

I was in the middle of importing an Oracle Database, I got this message 'Memory fault(coredump)' and Oracle import stopped right there. I tried to break Oracle importing to pieces (by schema), still got the same msg.

We do not have Unix Admin, I am just an Oracle DBA, wonder whether someone could help me to understand what this msg means?

Thank you,
Xiaowei

Re: Memory fault(coredump)

do a "what core" on the core file, that may give you some indication of what caused the core.
