Memory leakage of an application

Hi,

We suspect one of process running have leakage problem. From OS level, how to determine?

Did you try 'ipcs -m ' ?
Check the options of ipcs with the man pages.

Please check the available memory in GlangePlus ... If it continues to grow, it indicates the memory leak from OS level ...

Hi,

sarcheck reports on memory leaks and pinpoints the suspected process(es). You can get a copy from http://www.sarcheck.com

Alternatively, simply run periodic ps process listing or use glance to monitor the process that you suspect to be causing the leakage.

If this is over the period of a week or two you may wish to consider loading the measureware agent (part of glance plus)if you haven't loaded it already and define your variables within the parm file. It is not really difficult at all. With this product comes with a 30 day trial license you can find the culprit causing your problem.
