Memory management (PRM) problem

Hi!
Today my system was locked for any kind access, even COnsole. After hardreset I read the syslog and found following message many many times:
HP-PRM: [11522]: prm2d: memory group 1 requested -6824 p
ages, set to minimum 256.

The requested pages were different each time, this is only one of the messages.

So, it must have been PRM that locked the system, but as far as I understand it should prevent from such situations, that memory goes so low, that it locks (under the minfree value). How can I avoid that?

Thank you for any advice!

Shalom,

It is not certain that PRM locked your system, but you are looking at the most likely suspect.

Since it is the most likely suspect you should review the PRM configurations and look for something that could have done this.

Is your system patched with a recent bi-annual patch set including PRM patches? A look at the patch database may be of assistance.
