memory usage

Hello All,

I have a virtal machine. And it's been assigned 4 GB of memory. I'm running top command on this box ..so i should expect real+virtual+free memory should be equivalent to 4 GB .Is that correct.pls advice

virtual using vPat. what is the version of the OS. What is the machine model number?
