Message when using SU_ROOT_GROUP

Is there a way to modify the message that is diplayed to a user when using the SU_ROOT_GROUP flag that is in the /etc/default security file?
I really don't like the idea of diplaying to someone who is being locked out, where they need to go to get access.
Any ideas?

Re: Message when using SU_ROOT_GROUP

Short of compiling a new version of su from source, I don't think so.

Re: Message when using SU_ROOT_GROUP

Cannot easily modify the message.

Even though the message appears telling what is missing, only root (UID=0) can make modifications to the file. (Assuming the permissions are OK)
