Metrocluster Continuous Access EVA

Shalom, everybody

I`ve some troubles with my SG Metrocluster CA EVA. please HELP!!!

I have 2 SuperDomes and 2 EVA`s (siteA: SuperDome1 + EVA8100 and siteB: SuperDome2+EVA8400)

I`ve configured cluster, everything is looks like OK, but when I`m switching from SD1+EVA8100 to SD2+EVA8400, it starts full copy... and takes ~9 hours

The question is how to configure cluster without fullcopy everytime when switching nodes in the cluster?

Lower is my caeva.env conf:

CLUSTER_TYPE=metro
PKGDIR=/etc/cmcluster/testpkg
DT_APPLICATION_STARTUP_POLICY=Availability_Preferred
#DT_APPLICATION_STARTUP_POLICY=Data_Currency_Preferred
WAIT_TIME=5
DR_GROUP_NAME="testpkg"
DC1_STORAGE_WORLD_WIDE_NAME=5000-0000-0000-0001
DC1_SMIS_LIST="cv-node1"
DC1_HOST_LIST="SD1"
DC2_STORAGE_WORLD_WIDE_NAME=5000-0000-0000-0002
DC2_SMIS_LIST="cv-node2"
DC2_HOST_LIST="SD2"
QUERY_TIME_OUT=300

Re: Metrocluster Continuous Access EVA

Shalom,

I would suggest using EVA utilities and copy the data across before starting the cluster.

Please provide OS and SG versions as well as the model of both superdomes.

Regards,
