Metrocluster toolkit problem
We have builded a new Continental cluster recently. The config details are,
Server Model :BL 860c
OS version :11.31
CC Version :A.07.01
SG Version :A.11.19
Storage :EMC DMX 4
We have done the migration of one replicated package successfully. When we did the migration for second package, the migration went successfully. But the failover of the package to DR site through Metrocluster failed with the following error.
""Failover" : SYMAPI Error(3546) - "The
specified RA group is not valid". Please check
/var/symapi/log/symapi-20101015.log for any SYMAPI errors."
I have compared the dg which was successful and the one which was failed. The only difference I found is that the RA number for the failed DG is 78 & the successful DG is "51".
I have created a test DG and assigned a number (less than 64 )as RA number. The failover went successfully to DR site with Metrocluster. Then I assigned 74 as the RA number to the test DG.Then the failover to DR with Metrocluster failed.
Please anyone tell me whether there is any dependency of RA number with Metroclustertoolkit.
If yes how can we overcome this.

Re: Metrocluster toolkit problem
And again, this is not a simple area to be looking for known issues.
