Recently installed MF Cobol SE 2.1 on HP-UX 11.0 - having trouble with duration of license hold. Seems to be set at 30 seconds.
Did find parameter (ASLMFRETRY) that says how long to wait between retries and how often to retry to get license, but no indication that the 30 seconds the license is held is tailorable.
WE have interactive transactions that are backing up because of this. Any ideas?

Solution
Hi!
The 30 second delay in checking out a license after it has been checked in is a deliberate feature of the MF Server Express product and cannot be modified or eliminated using the "standard" user licenses, which are purchased in 5-pks.
The only solution is to either buy more licenses or to buy a processor/cpu license that has no delay. The reason that the cpu license has no delay is because the number of users that is licensed is "unlimited".
