MIBS for monitoring software query
Hi All!
I was requested to provide MIBS of server elements that will enable to monitor and receive alerts from HP9000 servers, but I am not familiar with that, I did a search on the systems I found the following directory:
/opt/iexpress/net-snmp/share/snmp/mibs
But this directory contains files with extension :
.txt
But these files have also the word MIB on them:
-r--r--r-- 1 bin bin 185667 Jun 23 2011 IP-MIB.txt -r--r--r-- 1 bin bin 2028 Jun 23 2011 IPV6-FLOW-LABEL-MIB.txt -r--r--r-- 1 bin bin 15936 Jun 23 2011 IPV6-ICMP-MIB.txt -r--r--r-- 1 bin bin 9326 Jun 23 2011 NET-SNMP-EXTEND-MIB.txt -r--r--r-- 1 bin bin 2036 Jun 23 2011 NET-SNMP-MIB.txt -r--r--r-- 1 bin bin 1215 Jun 23 2011 NET-SNMP-MONITOR-MIB.txt -r--r--r-- 1 bin bin 3350 Jun 23 2011 NET-SNMP-PASS-MIB.txt -r--r--r-- 1 bin bin 1226 Jun 23 2011 NET-SNMP-SYSTEM-MIB.txt -r--r--r-- 1 bin bin 4750 Jun 23 2011 NET-SNMP-TC.txt -r--r--r-- 1 bin bin 5039 Jun 23 2011 NET-SNMP-VACM-MIB.txt -r--r--r-- 1 bin bin 21006 Jun 23 2011 NETWORK-SERVICES-MIB.txt -r--r--r-- 1 bin bin 24694 Jun 23 2011 NOTIFICATION-LOG-MIB.txt -r--r--r-- 1 bin bin 9160 Jun 23 2011 NET-SNMP-EXAMPLES-MIB.txt
So, I am not sure if these are the right files, please can you help me on this?
P.S. This thread has been moved from HP-UX > Workload/Resource Management to HP-UX > sysadmin.
