Micro Focus Cobol Animator

We're having trouble getting the Micro Focus Cobol Animator to work with embedded Oracle commands. Animator works fine with no embedded SQL but returns error 173 when include SQL and try to animated. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as I've tried most things I could find documented. Thanks in advance for any help in this matter.
