Midaemon process fails to start

Even after doin mwa start all
midaemon process is not running
Check the midaemon log file got following msg:
midaemon: Sat Sep 13 10:40:18 2008
mi_create - Shared Memory Database initialization failed; vss = 22601832 bytes
Invalid argument.

Even glance is not working:
Glance fatal error.

Wed Feb 25 07:15:30 2009
mi_shared - MI initialization failed (status 5)

Shalom,

I would look at what happened lately to the system. Any errors or recent changes:

* Disk problem
* Files deleted in shared library
* Check syslog.log for recent errors.

Error 2 suggests a needed file is not there.

Check that it is there or not.

If not, reinstall the depot containing the missing file or copy it from a working HP-UX system.
