Hi people, i wanted to actually migrate existing applications from an hp9000 series server to an rp7472 server. So what r the steps i shoul dtake.

Hi,
first, are you sure about your target machines designation (rp7872/rp7472).
What sort of server is it?
In general terms migration would be:
1. Build environment(OS,patches, compilers, etc)
2. Build application environment (users/directories)
3. Build application (compile code and establish external interfaces)
4. Test, test and test again
